CONSULTATION SERVICES

Apply Sportsmassage Methods via What's App or Facetime with Jo-Ann

I provide national and international consultations for any muscle problem caused by muscle tightness creating resistance to motion resulting in performance problems and/or a decrease in range of motion. I also identify strength and conditioning issues and recommend strengthening exercises.

My consultations include:

Listening to the rider or horse owner concerns

Evaluating the horse based on the contributing information from the rider or horse owner

Using Facetime or What’s App as available remote services

In order to work remotely, Jo-Ann has the rider or groom use Facetime or
What’s App to initially video the horse so that Jo-Ann can analyze the horse’s gait at the walk. Using What’s App or Facetime, the rider or groom videos the horse walking away from the camera and then back toward the camera. Jo-Ann can then observe the horse at the walk and is able to view any resistances and restrictions in motion.

After the horse is walked, Jo-Ann requires two people in order to correct the motion and performance problem. One person needs to video with the other person working on the horse. Under Jo-Ann’s instruction and guidance, the rider applies the Wilson Meagher Method of Equine Sportsmassage Techniques. Jo-Ann tells the rider exactly where and how to apply the techniques in order to eliminate the specific muscle tightness causing the resistance to motion.

Much to rider’s and groom’s amazement, the muscle tightness may be successfully eliminated and the performance and motion of the horse is greatly improved.
